From there the group visited Harajuku at 9:10, Meiji Shrine at 9:30, Shibuya Scramble Square at 10:40, Tsukiji Outer Market at 11:30, Ginza sightseeing at 13:00, Asakusa sightseeing at 14:00, Nijubashi Bridge sightseeing at 16:00 and Tokyo Station, disband at 16:30.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Okubo to Harajuku by train (167JPY); Harajuku to Shibuya by train (146JPY); Shibuya to Tsukiji by train (209JPY); Tsukiji to Ginza by train (178JPY); Ginza to Asakusa by train (209JPY); Asakusa to Hibiya by train (209JPY). Across 6 sections the fare came to 1,118JPY per person.

The guests were visitors from Oceania. After this tour, the group planned to travel the Nakasendo trail on their own, and they were strong walkers who completed the 8-hour tour without any trouble. Since the group wanted to visit Tsukiji, we headed there directly from Shibuya. At the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, one of the group seemed fascinated by the go-karts on the streets. The group was quick to grasp the explanations. At the chrysanthemum exhibition at Meiji Shrine, the guests were delighted, saying, "It is very beautiful. It looks like Bonsai."

Our guide, Kappa-san, modified the typical Hakone tour to accommodate our interests, and is very helpful and knowledgeable. Since the day was very hot (95°F / 35°C) we favored activities that were more shaded or cool, including a walk on a cedar-lined section of the old Tokaido path.

Kappa, our guide met us at the train station and took us all over Kamakura. We saw shrines, the big Buddha, gardens, and the Oceanside! Kappa shared a lot of history about Kamakura, and it was nice to have this background when we were exploring these incredible sites! Highly recommend!

My wife and I were treated to a wonderful walking tour of Tokyo with Kappa. Kappa was very accommodating in designing a tour specifically tailored to our interests.
