Title: What Can You See on a Private One-Day Tokyo Tour by Car? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting Japan for the first time from North America. After sightseeing in Tokyo, they were planning to go on a 10-day cruise tour. At Meiji Shrine, the guests appeared impressed by the quiet and solemn atmosphere, which contrasted greatly with Shibuya. They also purchased many omamori charms as souvenirs. At Shinjuku Gyoen, the guests seemed impressed by the beautiful Japanese garden, and were delighted to see the early-blooming cherry blossoms. At the Imperial Palace, they listened with interest to historical explanations about the role of the Emperor, the Meiji Restoration, and the Edo Shogunate. At Senso-ji Temple, they listened with interest to explanations about the differences between temples and shrines, as well as the Kaminarimon Gate, and purchased souvenirs along Nakamise Street. Since I accommodated the guests' wishes throughout, I believe they were satisfied.

Please note that as this was a tour with a vehicle provided, there were no advance transportation expenses for the guide.
