What Can You See on a Private Tokyo Tour After the Main Sights? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests came from Europe, and since they had already visited the main sightseeing spots in Tokyo by the previous day, I guided them to places they had not yet been. They also asked me to rely as little as possible on SUICA and to focus mainly on areas reachable with a one-day subway pass, since they were returning home the next day. Because of this somewhat challenging request, we had to give up on the planned visit to Shibamata Taishakuten. I guided them to a variety of places, but they did not show particular interest in any specific spot, and I was unable to tell what they were most interested in throughout the tour. The tour also proceeded without lunch, which made it demanding for me as a guide. In the end, I took them to Tokyo Tower, and at their request to finish the tour one hour earlier than scheduled, we ended there. The weather was fine that day, and I believe the guests enjoyed the tour.

Even so, I recommend you go around with a guide, especially if it is your first time visit to Tokyo.
A good guide will help you to understand about Tokyo and Japan as well as how to use convenient but complicated public transportations more effectively.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
