  • 09:00 Hotel Sapporo Odori Park Meet and greet ~ Board Municipal Subway Tozai Line at Nishi 11-chome ~ Get off at Maruyama Koen Station ~ Stroll through Maruyama Park ~ Visit the main hall of Hokkaido Shrine ~ 10:30 Board subway at Maruyama Koen Station ~ Get off at Miyanosawa Station ~ Walk ~ Visit Shiroi Koibito Park ~ Walk ~
  • 11:40 Board Municipal Subway at Miyanosawa Station ~ Get off at Odori Station ~ Purchase lunch (bread) at the underground mall ~
  • 14:00 View the Clock Tower exterior only & take photos ~ Climb the TV Tower (up to the observation floor at 90m above ground)
  • 14:30 Board Chuo Bus at Kita 1 Higashi 1-chome ~ Sapporo Beer Museum, enter the museum
  • 15:40 Board Chuo Bus beside the museum ~ Get off at JR Sapporo Station North Exit, guide service ends
  • 16:00 Guide to Municipal Subway Namboku Line Sapporo Station ~ Guests head to Susukino (guide takes leave at Odori Station)

What Can You See on a Private Walking Tour of Sapporo? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Asia. They actively explored the itinerary. Before we met, the sightseeing spots requested by email were Maruyama Park, Hokkaido Shrine, Odori Park, the Clock Tower, the TV Tower, and the Sapporo Beer Museum. After meeting, the guests expressed a wish to also add Shiroi Koibito Park. The weather was cloudy right at the start of the sightseeing, but gradually blue skies appeared and the temperature rose to around 20°C, allowing the guests to enjoy a comfortable walking tour.

I live in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. I know you are a guest of a luxurious ocean liner. You will visit Otaru on April 21. Otaru is a port city, known for its tasty seafood. The city was once an economic hub of Hokkaido. You will see the former canal, Sakaimachi Street, where a lot of sushi bars, glass-blowing studios, museums, and gift shops. While in the suburbs, Mt. Tengu or Shukutsu Peninsular, where you will have a panoramic view including an ocean view. Please entertain yourself on the luxurious passenger boat. These spots will certainly entertain you.
