What Is a Private Sapporo Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Asia who have come to Japan many times to ski, and this trip included a skiing debut for one of them. This was already their third visit to Japan this season; they usually go to Furano, but this time they were planning to go skiing at Mount Teine tomorrow by JR train and bus. They were fluent in both Japanese and English and could also read kanji, so traveling seemed to pose no difficulties for them. They listened with great interest to the history of Hokkaido and Sapporo. At Hokkaido Shrine, they offered prayers and purchased protective charms. They mentioned that they had learned Japanese through anime.
