- 1. 9:30 – Meet the guests at Hotel Nakajima Park Sapporo
- 2. 10:00 – Sightseeing at Shiroi Koibito Park
- 3. 12:00 – Visit Hokkaido Shrine
- 4. 14:00 – Stroll around Sapporo Factory
- 5. 16:00 – Sightseeing at Sapporo Beer Museum
- 6. 16:30 – Dismissal (guests head to the hotel by taxi)
What Is a Private Walking Tour of Sapporo, Hokkaido Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
According to the schedule, the booking was listed differently from the actual group that arrived. The guests were visiting Hokkaido for the second time. The guests enjoyed this walking tour energetically. At Hokkaido Shrine, when I explained how Japanese people relate to shrines, the guests listened with great interest. For this tour, I distributed a handmade booklet containing illustrations and simple explanations of the sights in Hokkaido and Sapporo City. I also handed out a booklet with drawings and simple explanations of the annual school events of Japanese elementary school students. The guests looked through them with interest.

I live in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan. I know you are a guest of a luxurious ocean liner. You will visit Otaru on April 21. Otaru is a port city, known for its tasty seafood. The city was once an economic hub of Hokkaido. You will see the former canal, Sakaimachi Street, where a lot of sushi bars, glass-blowing studios, museums, and gift shops. While in the suburbs, Mt. Tengu or Shukutsu Peninsular, where you will have a panoramic view including an ocean view. Please entertain yourself on the luxurious passenger boat. These spots will certainly entertain you.
