Can You Do a Private Sapporo Day Tour Including Shiroi Koibito Park, Mount Moiwa, and the Historical Village of Hokkaido? A Licensed Guide's Report
Based on the guests' requests, the itinerary included three destinations that require considerable travel time — Shiroi Koibito Park, Mount Moiwa, and the Historical Village of Hokkaido — so it was expected from the outset that the tour would exceed six hours. Since the rain that had continued since morning would not let up, I decided to make Mount Moiwa the final destination while watching the weather. Even past noon, the visibility from the summit of Mount Moiwa did not seem to clear up much, so I suggested the Sapporo Beer Museum (one of the destinations the guests had wished to visit) as an alternative. However, the desire to visit Mount Moiwa was strong, so although it meant going considerably over time, I decided to guide them there. By the time we reached the summit of Mount Moiwa, the rain had stopped and visibility had improved somewhat, and I suggested that if we waited about two hours, they could see the night view. At Mount Moiwa, I gave advice on how to return to the Hotel, and we parted ways.

Super Sapporo in April with Tom.
Tom was kind enough to meet at our hotel to start the tour and then sat with us to make sure we saw the best of Sapporo that was available to us on the day. We even managed some Cherry Blossom which was an unexpected bonus.
Tom ensured we got to Sapporos highest view away from any crowds and navigated our route brilliantly. He left us at the Sapporo Brewery for us to drink and eat in our own time. We wish Tom sincere thanks for a great day in Sapporo.

We had a wonderful city tour with Tom in Sapporo! He was very knowledgeable about Hokkaido’s history and culture and had a lot of great stories to share. He was extremely friendly and patient as well. Highly recommend booking a tour with Tom if you want to see Sapporo’s highlights in a day! He also does tours further out of Sapporo city center.
