What's a Private Sapporo Walking and Shopping Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

At the guests' request, the tour started 30 minutes later so they could enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the morning. We took a leisurely stroll through Susukino.

We then walked through the Tanukikoji shopping arcade, and along the way the guests purchased a kitchen knife at "Miyabun" and were delighted.

At Nijo Market, the guests happily bought many souvenirs, such as scallops, for relatives and friends.

We walked to Sapporo Factory and enjoyed some shopping.

Since the guests wanted to eat tonkatsu, we took a taxi to a specialty tonkatsu restaurant on Odori for lunch.

The guests were very pleased, saying that in North America they could never eat tonkatsu this tender and delicious.

While eating, we had a lively conversation about the variety, deliciousness, safety of Japanese food, as well as health and obesity.
