What's a Private Sapporo Cherry Blossom Tour Like in Spring? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a close-knit family visiting from North America. Since the cherry blossoms were in full bloom at the time, I guided them to Maruyama Park, a famous cherry blossom spot. Although it was a cold day at 8°C, they were used to the cold and did not mind at all. There were also cherry blossoms in the front garden of the Hokkaido Government Former Office (the Red Brick Office), and the guests were delighted, as they had not expected to still be able to see cherry blossoms in Japan. Some of the guests had been to Tokyo before, but it was everyone's first time in Hokkaido, so they were looking forward to the food. I recommended local dishes such as seafood restaurants and Genghis Khan (grilled mutton).
