Tour Itinerary in Detail

Meeting at Hotel meet, take the bus to Otaru at 8:15, the group explored Hokkaido until the tour ended at 16:00. The day ran to 7 hours and 45 minutes from start to finish. It included lunch at Kita no Ryoba at 13:00.

What Is a Private Day Tour of Otaru Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America. As arranged in advance by email, after arriving in Otaru we took a bus to the Tenguyama Ropeway. The weather was clear, so we were able to enjoy beautiful views of the town of Otaru, the sea, and the distant mountains. The guests enjoyed craft beer at a brewery along the Otaru Canal. Since they wanted seafood, they had seafood rice bowls at a casual seafood restaurant. On Sakaimachi Street, they enjoyed shopping for souvenirs and eating ice cream while strolling. On the way back we also took the bus, so it was a comfortable bus ride all the way to the bus stop in front of the Hotel.
