Title: What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like for a Family? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Asia. At the group's request, we started the tour 30 minutes later than originally planned. Since their accommodation was near Namba and they had already explored Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi the previous evening, we omitted those areas from this tour. As the group preferred taking a taxi whenever the walk would exceed about 10 minutes, I made a point of using elevators and escalators when traveling by train. At Osaka Castle, we rode an electric cart on the way back from the main keep.

In Shinsekai, the group responded almost instinctively to the kyudo (Japanese archery) range, arcade, and shooting gallery along Jan-Jan Yokocho, and enjoyed themselves immensely. They also showed interest in the slider at Tsutenkaku, but decided not to ride it since it starts from the lower observation deck, which they felt would be less exciting.

Since some of the guests do not eat meat, I had planned to take the group to a suitable restaurant, but they had brought their own lunch and only asked me to arrange something for the younger members of the group to eat. After moving to Umeda, one of the guests and I had ramen together at a food stall alley near the station exit.

At the Umeda Sky Building, the group did not go up to the rooftop observation deck, but they thoroughly enjoyed taking photos of the view from the 39th floor down to the ground and of themselves riding the escalators.

I believe that tourism can connect people all over the world and change the world into something truly peaceful. I was born in Osaka and have lived in Tokyo for more than 35 years. I am very happy to welcome tourists from all over the world. I will do my best to make your days fantastic. I look forward to seeing you soon.
