Osaka Private Tour Report: What Can a Licensed Guide Cover at Osaka Castle, Shitennoji, and Kuromon Market in One Day?

This was a private tour for a group visiting Japan, so we moved around while avoiding stairs as much as possible. One member of the group was cheerful and had no trouble walking, but another member walked slowly and consistently fell behind. Since Osaka Castle has many stairs and the elevator was not available at the time, we decided that this person would wait outside. When we returned, we found them sitting on a chair and sleeping in the shade of Miraiza Osaka-jo. Jet lag seemed to be difficult for them as well. On the way back, to make things a little easier, we used the electric car that runs within the castle grounds. Even so, the group loved taking photos, capturing many shots of Osaka Castle, the surrounding trees, and the five-story pagoda at Shitennoji. They also bought many souvenirs and picked up matcha at Kuromon Market. At the end, I thought about seeing them to their hotel since it was close to Dotonbori, but the group decided to have a meal at a restaurant they liked, so we parted ways in front of the restaurant.

Hi! I’m an official English guide in Wakayama prefecture. I’m also a national guide as well. I’d like to expand my guide area to help tourists.
The town of Osaka offers a different atmosphere than Tokyo. I like both exciting Osaka and nature-filled Wakayama Prefecture.
If you stay in Osaka for 3 days, you can go to Koyasan for one day, or even for a day trip, so I recommend sightseeing at Koyasan.
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, the nature of Koyasan will relax you.
I will introduce you to the unique culture, history and must-see sights.
