  • 9:00-10:45 Move to Osaka Castle and stay there.
  • 10:45-11:05 Move to Umeda Sky Building
  • 11:05-12:45 Tour of Umeda Sky Building and dining
  • 12:45-13:15 Move to Shitennoji Temple
  • 13:15-13:50 Stay at Shitennoji Temple
  • 13:50-14:15 Move to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine
  • 14:15-14:50 Stay at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine
  • 15:15 Go back to hotel (End of the tour)

Tour Itinerary in Detail

This private tour of Osaka began at 9:00, when the guide met the guests at Conrad Osaka(3-2-4 Nakanoshima,Kita-ku), and finished at 15:15. The day ran to 6 hours and 15 minutes from start to finish.

From there the group visited Osaka Castle and stay there. at 9:00, Umeda Sky Building at 10:45, Tour of Umeda Sky Building and dining at 11:05, Shitennoji Temple at 12:45, Stay at Shitennoji Temple at 13:15, Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine at 13:50 and Stay at Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine at 14:15.

The guests were a group visiting Japan, and since they preferred not to walk long distances, we used a taxi for the day, though they had no trouble walking or going up and down the stairs inside Osaka Castle. When I asked the secret to their energy, they said "travel," and it seems they have booked other tours with [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) as well. They also seemed to enjoy views from tall buildings, and although the Conrad Hotel is higher than the Umeda Sky Building, they still enjoyed the scenery from the rooftop of the Umeda Sky Building and took videos and photos. They took photos of each other on the see-through escalator as well. When I asked afterward which places they liked best, their opinions were divided between Osaka Castle and Sumiyoshi Taisha, but it seemed they preferred quiet places with old buildings and scenery over lively spots. The taxi returned to the Hotel at 15:15, so there were no additional charges. The taxi driver was polite and kind as well.

Hi! I’m an official English guide in Wakayama prefecture. I’m also a national guide as well. I’d like to expand my guide area to help tourists.
The town of Osaka offers a different atmosphere than Tokyo. I like both exciting Osaka and nature-filled Wakayama Prefecture.
If you stay in Osaka for 3 days, you can go to Koyasan for one day, or even for a day trip, so I recommend sightseeing at Koyasan.
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, the nature of Koyasan will relax you.
I will introduce you to the unique culture, history and must-see sights.
