The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. The booking was made through a travel agency. Since contact had not been possible until shortly before, there was some concern because the meeting point had not been decided, but it turned out they were coming from Kyoto, and we were able to meet without any trouble at a hotel near Osaka Station. The weather was pleasant that day, and in addition to the planned Osaka Castle, Shitenno-ji Temple, and Dotonbori, we also made unexpected stops at Ohatsu Tenjin Shrine and NHK, and the group seemed to really enjoy the attractions at NHK. At Dotonbori, there were many riot police and officers deployed in anticipation of a Tigers championship celebration, creating an even more imposing atmosphere than usual, but fortunately there was no disturbance, and after the tour the group headed to Kuromon Market.
A notable stop on the tour was Osaka Castle. Osaka Castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks, originally built in the late 16th century by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a key figure in the unification of Japan. The castle's distinctive main tower, surrounded by stone walls and moats, has been rebuilt over the centuries and today houses a museum showcasing the history of the castle and the Toyotomi era. The surrounding park is also a popular spot for seasonal scenery, including cherry blossoms in spring, making it a rewarding destination for visitors interested in both history and nature.

Sachiko was our tour guide and she is one of the best we have had. Not only did she show us Osaka in the rain, she went above and stayed with us 45 minutes past the tour time to make sure she brought us back to our hotel and taught us the trains to take and the restaurants around. We highly appreciate her.

I enjoyed seeing Osaka through Sachiko’s eyes and experience. She showed me what was special about Osaka, answered my numerous questions about life in this city and in Japan. Sachiko or Choko Ogura is a fantastic guide who not only explained the importance but also the backgrounds and histories in details of the locations we visited.
She is extremely proficient in English but is lovely lady with very helpful and pleasant nature. She guided us about what to do and what not to do.
