Over the course of the day the route took in Take the subway to Umeda Sky Building at 14:30, Take the subway to Osaka Castle at 16:00 and To Dotonbori at 17:30.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Higobashi to Umeda (Subway) by train (190JPY); Higashi-Umeda to Temmabashi by train (190JPY); Tanimachi 4-chome to Namba (Subway) by train (240JPY). Across 3 sections the fare came to 620JPY per person.
What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Umeda Sky Building, Osaka Castle, and Dotonbori
After a briefing at the hotel, we decided to first visit the Umeda Sky Building, and then head to Osaka Castle and Dotonbori.
First, we took the subway to the Umeda Sky Building, where the guests enjoyed the view of Osaka from the observation deck.
We then went down to the basement level, where the guests enjoyed seeing the many carp in the garden of the hotel.
After that, at a department store's basement food floor, they looked at a wide variety of foods, and then we took the subway to Osaka Castle.
The guests enjoyed the Japanese castle.
At the dojo within Osaka Castle, children happened to be practicing kendo, so one of the guests watched intently.
Afterward, we concluded the tour at Dotonbori.
