- 10:10-10:30 Board the Osaka Castle Gozabune Boat
- 10:40:11:10 Osaka Castle Park sightseeing (including Hokoku Shrine)
- 11:22-11:35 Morinomiya → Namba 240 yen
- 12:00-12:50 Lunch @Tsuruhashi Fugetsu
- 13:07-13:17 Namba → Tenmabashi 240 yen
- 13:30 Disband @yksi STAY&APARTMENT OSAKA
What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Osaka Castle and Namba
The guests were a group visiting Osaka. They had just arrived in Japan the day before, so they seemed to still have a bit of jet lag. We walked to the ticket booth for the Gozabune boat at Osaka Castle and were able to board the boat departing at 10:10. Although I myself have been to Osaka Castle many times, this was my first time riding the Gozabune boat. It was quite interesting, as we could see areas that cannot be reached on foot.
After Osaka Castle, we headed to Namba. We went to the post office to pick up a Wi-Fi device, but unfortunately the package had not arrived, so it could not be collected. After that, we had lunch at Tsuruhashi Fugetsu. We had planned to go to Dotonbori, but since one of the guests was sleepy, we returned to the Hotel.

Andy(Atsushi) was great and communicated with us beforehand about our itinerary. He was flexible with changes we requested. Andy was very informative during the tour. He also was willing to take our family’s pictures. We were able to stop and check out shops as we pleased along the way. He also accommodated lunch requests(as our daughter has food allergies).
One thing I wish we realized was that there is quite a bit of walking. We were fine but for people who are perhaps older or with young children you may want to consider taking a cab between different sites.

Andy Murao was an amazing and wonderful tour guide. He reached out to us with some ideas for our private tour. He worked with us as we made the tour perfectly suited to our needs. He met us on time. He navigated the crowds and the sites perfectly. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. He even put together a nice photo collection of photos he emailed us after. Highly recommend.
