What Is a Private Osaka Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kuromon Market, Osaka Museum of History, and Dotonbori
The guests were a group of friends visiting Japan from Oceania. They had already been traveling for about three weeks, and today was their final day in Osaka. Feeling somewhat tired from the long journey and the heat, during our meeting at the start we adjusted the original plan and decided to finish a little early and return to the hotel. With that in mind, we visited Kuromon Market, the Osaka Museum of History, Namba, Dotonbori, and Hozenji Yokocho. At the Osaka Museum of History, they attentively viewed the excavated artifacts and exhibits spanning from ancient to modern Osaka. In particular, they were impressed by the length of history and the transformation of Osaka as they compared the ruins of Naniwa Palace, the adjacent Osaka Castle, and the modern cityscape of today. At Dotonbori and Kuromon Market, they enjoyed eating takoyaki and taking in the old downtown atmosphere of Osaka, taking many photographs.

We had a wonderful tour around Osaka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The length of the tour was just right for us—especially on such a hot day—and we still managed to find time to take some great photos.
