What Is a Private Osaka and Nara Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Today I guided a group visiting from Europe, who had already traveled to Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. Today they explored Osaka and Nara, and were planning to visit the Expo the following day. Since it was cloudy, it was not too hot, and there were relatively few tourists, so we were able to enjoy the day at a leisurely pace. They took their time enjoying the views from Osaka Castle and the Umeda Sky Building, and as they seemed to enjoy taking photos, I believe they had a great time capturing many nice pictures thanks to the small crowds.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April!
