What Is a Private Osaka Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shitennoji and Harukas
The guests were visitors from North America on a memorial trip. On the day of the tour, they came to Osaka from Kyoto by Shinkansen, and after the tour they planned to visit the EXPO. The previous day they had done an 8-hour tour in Kyoto and were so tired that they fell asleep without even having dinner, then hurried over to Osaka this morning. Even so, some of the guests were full of energy and enjoyed walking while taking photos at their favorite spots. One of the guests liked the heatstroke-prevention tablets I gave them and searched from shop to shop to buy them for practice, but many stores were sold out. They finally found a shop and bought a large quantity. Another of the guests was very fond of Shitennoji Temple and expressed much gratitude, but due to the heat and hunger, after seeing only the area around the main hall, they said they could not walk another step and soon took a taxi to Harukas. The plan is to head to Nara the next day and make a long trip to Ine in Kyoto the day after — a demanding schedule the guests arranged themselves. I hope they enjoy it while taking care in the heat.

Sachiko was our tour guide and she is one of the best we have had. Not only did she show us Osaka in the rain, she went above and stayed with us 45 minutes past the tour time to make sure she brought us back to our hotel and taught us the trains to take and the restaurants around. We highly appreciate her.

I enjoyed seeing Osaka through Sachiko’s eyes and experience. She showed me what was special about Osaka, answered my numerous questions about life in this city and in Japan. The tour was long enough to see the city and although it rained throughout the day, I had a very nice time. I would recommend Sachiko and TripAdvisor to friends

Sachiko or Choko Ogura is a fantastic guide who not only explained the importance but also the backgrounds and histories in details of the locations we visited.
She is extremely proficient in English but is lovely lady with very helpful and pleasant nature. She guided us about what to do and what not to do.
She is highly recommended and we will be definitely recommending her to our relations and acquaintances.
