Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 13:00 at Hotel Gracery Osaka Namba Meeting and ended at 17:30. The day ran to 4 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish.
Over the course of the day the route took in Osaka Castle at 13:40, Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine at 15:50 and Dotonbori at 16:50.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Namba to Tanimachi 4-chome by subway (240JPY); Tanimachi 4-chome to Tennoji by subway (240JPY); Tennoji to Sumiyoshi Toriimae by train (240JPY); Sumiyoshi Taisha to Namba by train (240JPY). Across 4 sections the fare came to 960JPY per person.
The guests were visiting from Asia. They had already visited Tokyo and Kyoto. Osaka Castle was fortunately relatively uncrowded today, so we were able to view it at a leisurely pace. Some of the guests seemed interested in history and looked around quite carefully. Next we went to Sumiyoshi Taisha, but because the subway was briefly delayed, our arrival was late and the visit ended up being a little shorter than planned. After that we moved to Dotonbori, where the guests enjoyed takoyaki, and the tour came to an end. I believe they had a good time.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April!
