Title: What Can You See on a Private Osaka Day Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report on Umeda, Osaka Castle, and Dotonbori
I guided a group visiting from Oceania around the Umeda Sky Building, Osaka Castle, Dotonbori, and Shinsaibashi (including PARCO and Daimaru). Since Osaka was their first stop in Japan, they were impressed by the ultra-urban cityscape of Umeda seen from the Umeda Sky Building. At Osaka Castle, we purchased an Enjoy Eco Card so we were able to enter without waiting in line, but to our surprise, the elevator was under construction and unavailable, so we climbed the stairs up to the 8th floor. Fortunately, everyone in the group was in good shape. The construction appears to continue until July 23, so I will need to keep this in mind for future Osaka tours.
After that, we made a quick visit to Dotonbori, then took photos at the character shops in PARCO and Daimaru in Shinsaibashi, before heading to the Hotel by subway and parting ways there.

Yuko San is one of the best tour guides we have had on our tour to Japan. We spent a good 4 hours with her in Osaka covering the Osaka Castle, the Shitennō-ji Temple, and ended with a delicious local lunch at Shinsekai.
Her knowledge about the region was very good. What set her apart was her politeness and mannerisms.
I would recommend Yuko San as a tour guide.

Yuko was great at guiding us everywhere and explaining all the different ways to buy tickets so it was affordable and most convenient for our family. They also stopped to explain facts of the areas we were in and took so many family photos for us. She always made sure we were close by her when around large crowds. Very friendly and lovely to get to know. Highly recommend this guide!
