The guests were a group visiting from North America. Today they arrived at Shin-Osaka Station on an early-morning bullet train from their accommodation in Kyoto, and I met them on the platform. The weather was wonderful, and at Osaka Castle Park and the castle keep they marveled at the magnificent views of the city of Osaka. They were also captivated by the folding screens depicting the upbringing of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and scenes of the Sengoku-era samurai battles at Osaka Castle. In Shinsekai, they enjoyed learning about Billiken and the district's unique history, and had fun eating takoyaki and kushikatsu. Finally, we took photos in front of the Glico sign in Dotonbori, and I escorted them back to Shin-Osaka Station to see them off.

We had a wonderful tour around Osaka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
