- 11:00-12:00 Osaka Castle Park sightseeing
- 12:09-12:19 Osaka Business Park → Shinsaibashi, Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line 240 yen
- 12:25-12:40 Stroll around the Dotonbori area
- 12:45-14:10 Lunch @ New Matsusaka Namba Midosuji Store
- 14:18-14:25 Namba → Tennoji, Midosuji Line 190 yen

What Does a Private Osaka Day Tour Look Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shinsekai, Osaka Castle, and Dotonbori
The guests were visitors from North America. We first visited the Shinsekai area and strolled through the traditional downtown atmosphere of Osaka. I considered guiding them up to the observation deck of Tsutenkaku Tower, but since the view from their accommodation was better, we limited it to a walk around the streets. They were interested in the Showa-era retro atmosphere and the unique signboards, and thoroughly enjoyed the local culture.
Next we visited Osaka Castle, focusing our tour on the main keep. They showed interest in Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the history of Osaka, and were especially impressed by the grandeur of the castle structure and the construction of the stone walls. With the cherry blossom season approaching, they also enjoyed the surrounding scenery.
Finally, we strolled around the Dotonbori area and took commemorative photos in front of the famous Glico signboard. They fully enjoyed the lively streetscape, and for lunch we shared teppanyaki together at a restaurant. They were very satisfied with the taste of the wagyu beef grilled right in front of them, and were also impressed by the chef's performance.

Andy(Atsushi) was great and communicated with us beforehand about our itinerary. He was flexible with changes we requested. Andy was very informative during the tour. He also was willing to take our family’s pictures. We were able to stop and check out shops as we pleased along the way. He also accommodated lunch requests(as our daughter has food allergies).
One thing I wish we realized was that there is quite a bit of walking. We were fine but for people who are perhaps older or with young children you may want to consider taking a cab between different sites.

Andy Murao was an amazing and wonderful tour guide. He reached out to us with some ideas for our private tour. He worked with us as we made the tour perfectly suited to our needs. He met us on time. He navigated the crowds and the sites perfectly. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. He even put together a nice photo collection of photos he emailed us after. Highly recommend.
