What's a Private Day Tour of Osaka Like from a Cruise Ship Arrival? A Licensed Guide's Report

Today's guests were a group visiting from Europe. They arrived in Osaka by cruise ship after stopping in Shanghai, Seoul, Kagoshima, Kochi, and Kyoto. Since Osaka Castle was expected to be very crowded, we set out a little earlier and were able to enjoy it without any waiting time. Sumiyoshi Taisha was not too crowded either, the cherry blossoms were beautiful, and it was wonderful to see babies visiting for their first shrine blessing as well as a wedding ceremony. The guests soaked up the atmosphere of Janjan Yokocho in Shinsekai and the area around Tsutenkaku Tower, and savored the popular takoyaki and omurice. They also enjoyed treats such as strawberry daifuku at Kuromon Market and Dotonbori. As the guests wanted to buy KitKat as souvenirs, I took them to a nearby Don Quijote store, and since they wished to go shopping at the shopping arcade and department stores, we ended the tour a little early at the guests' request. Later I received a message that they were able to buy the items they wanted. I believe they enjoyed themselves.
