What Is a Private Family Walking Tour of Okinawa Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting Okinawa. The forecast called for rain, but the weather managed to hold up throughout the day. Everyone was calm and talkative, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. At each stop, I was able to show them a variety of flowers, plants, and insects. They had no trouble walking, but since they walked at a leisurely pace, the tour ended up running about two hours longer than planned. When I checked with them, they said they did not mind, so we visited each of the planned locations in order. The itinerary began with the history of Okinawa and progressed through the prewar period, the postwar period, and the present day, which made it easy to guide as well.
