What Is a Private Day Tour of Nikko's World Heritage Sites Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests traveled a very long way to visit Japan from a distant region. They were very interested in Japanese history and wished to sightsee in Nikko. They took their time exploring the four facilities of the Nikko World Heritage Site (Toshogu Shrine, Futarasan Shrine, Taiyuin, and Rinnoji Temple), and appeared very satisfied. Unfortunately it rained that day, but they were amazed by the fresh green foliage of early summer and the peaks partly veiled in mist, remarking how completely different it was from the natural scenery of their home region. The guests' accommodation was in Shibuya, and since the JR/Tobu limited express trains bound for Nikko departing from Shinjuku run infrequently and are very popular, I purchased the tickets in advance.

I was born at Tokyo, have lived 60 years. There are many traditional and modern spots in Tokyo , You can enjoy and feel the contrast between them,
Please let me know which spots you are interested in, or would you like me to recommend popular spots?
Japanese food tastes great too. I am also a Sake Sommelier, Sake is Japanese alcohol made from rice with a refined and mild taste.

4 hour tour in Tokyo with Steve!
Steve was a great tour guide. He was very punctual, professional and very pleasant to be
around. We toured with him for 4 hours around Tokyo and showed us several sites and
taught us how to navigate through the subway system!

Wonderful Tour of Tokyo
We had a wonderful tour of Tokyo, and a huge part of that was thanks to our fantastic guide, Steve.
Steve expertly navigated us through the bustling streets, introducing us to hidden gems and iconic landmarks alike. Steve reached out in advance to make sure that we saw the landmarks that we wanted to see.
One of the highlights was the sake tasting experience. We were guided through the nuances of different sake varieties and the brewing process. It was both educational and delicious.
Overall, our tour of Tokyo was unforgettable.

I very interesting tour and also the shopping street.
Steve was an excellent guide explaining all the intricacies of the metro system and finding a
very good Japanese cafe for lunch. Also visited a pig cafe which was fun.
