What Is a Private Nikko Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Toshogu Shrine and Tamozawa Villa
The guests came from North America and were interested in architecture and gardens. Based on their advance requests, I guided them through each spot, and ended the tour after taking them to the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, which had been added as an extra request the day before. Since the guests requested to arrive at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum before 5:00 p.m., we finished the tour an hour and a half earlier than originally planned. Although the tour was shortened, the guests were deeply moved by the grandeur of Toshogu Shrine and the beauty of Tamozawa Villa and its gardens, and they told me it was a wonderful tour. The driver also responded flexibly, and the guests were very pleased.

Pleasant Intro to Tokyo
Nobu was an experienced and informative guide. It was a great introduction to Tokyo – a busy and vastly interesting city. We learned about Japanese history and toured some of the major sites including the Imperial gardens, a Buddhist temple, a Shinto shrine, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Nobu helped us get familiar with the subway system and explained some of Japanese cuisine. We greatly enjoyed our tour and recommend it to others!
