What Is a Private Walking Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? A Guide's Report

The guests came from North America. They listened attentively and took part actively in the prayers at the shrines and temples. After a prolonged typhoon, I was concerned about the weather, but although the humidity was severe, we were able to tour without any rain. We used the bus for the round trip to and from the station, but since the service is infrequent, I built in extra time, which meant we ran out of time to see the garden of the imperial villa. In hindsight, a lesson learned was that we could have taken a later bus and still made the return train in time.

Hello! I’m Yoko.
I live in Tochigi Prefecture about 40 years and currently based in Utsunomiya, city near Nikko.
I’m a mother of two kids, and a beagle dog.
Also I’ve lived in Tennessee for 3 years until 2020.
