Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Nara Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Kasuga Taisha and Local Cuisine

The guests were a very cheerful group. They listened sincerely to everything I explained, and since they had said they wanted to try something unique to Nara for lunch, I took them to my top recommendation, Hiraso. Because we went without a reservation, we waited about 20 minutes, but during the wait they looked over the English menu and decided on their order in advance. What they actually ordered was a very large platter of assorted sushi and a set menu featuring kakinoha-zushi (persimmon leaf sushi). They were delighted, repeatedly saying how delicious it was. Although they seemed a little tired, I trusted their reply that they were fine, and we headed to Kasuga Taisha. The English spelling of Mt. Mikasa happened to match the name of today's guests. They were very pleased, and at the end of the tour they said they were amazed and had a wonderful time thanks to such a big surprise.

Hi! My name is YUKA. I’ve got the government license in 2018 and joined a half year traning to do the guide. But a half year later I started my carreer, Covid came. I should have given up guiding. During the Covid, I’ve read many books and made my own materials to explain Japanese culture, history, etc. I love guiding because the guests expand my horizon all the time and let me know their own country and culture, etc. It is really important for us all to know each other and respect each other to make this world peace. Thank you for coming to Japan! Let’s enjoy Japan together!
