From there the group visited Nara Park to Todai-ji Great Buddha Hall at 10:30, Todai-ji Nigatsu-do at 12:45, Isuien Garden at 13:40, Sarutahiko Coffee / Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten at 14:50, Naramachi Nara Nigiwai no Ie at 15:30 and Kintetsu Nara Station Dismissal at 16:10.
Travel between the sites was by public transport: Kintetsu Nara Station by bus (250JPY). Across 1 sections the fare came to 250JPY per person.

The guests today were a group visiting from Europe, arriving from Kyoto and Osaka. Since it was not peak season, none of the sites were very crowded, which made for an ideal tour. From the very beginning, the guests greatly enjoyed feeding the deer in Nara Park. Todai-ji Temple was also relatively uncrowded, so I was able to explain things at a leisurely pace, which was wonderful. I could also take my time explaining Nigatsu-do Hall. Lunch was not crowded either, so we were able to relax and enjoy it. At the Naramachi Nigiwai no Ie, I introduced a typical traditional Japanese house, and the guests seemed very interested in it. I believe they had a very enjoyable time.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kyoto Private Tour
Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April! She reached out well before our trip to get to know our interests and carefully planned an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to us—even helping us choose the perfect lunch spot.
