What Is a Private Guided Day Tour of Nara Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America. I had told them the meeting point was the east ticket gate of Kintetsu Nara Station, but they were waiting at a different location, so we started about 30 minutes late. When I met them, I was worried about how things would turn out, but they did not seem to mind much, and the rest of the tour proceeded smoothly. On my part, I had intended to convey the meeting point correctly. However, since there are many different situations, I once again realized that I must be thorough in reconfirming such details. As a personal observation, quite a few guests, like these guests, do not do much shopping in Nara. Most people probably visit Tokyo or Kyoto before coming to Nara. As a result, they have often already bought plenty of souvenirs. Also, at lunchtime, when I suggest, "Would you like to go get a hamburger?", a fair number of guests take me up on it. This, like the shopping, seems to be the result of having eaten a range of Japanese food at other destinations, leaving some people a little tired of Japanese cuisine.

Let’s go out! The Kansai region was the center of Japan for a long time. It was from the 4th century to 19th century. Thus the Kansai region is rich in scenic and historic interest. Why don’t we see, feel, and find so many attractions in Nara Kyoto and Osaka. I was born and raised in Nara. Also I have been to Osaka and Kyoto for working, shopping and dining. I can show you not only major tourist spots but also shops and delicious food that only locals know. I am looking forward to sharing wonderful moments with you!

There is a lot of climbing stairs and walking, but it is totally worth it. Nara was very crowded,
but with Toshi guiding me, I could find my way very easily. The deer can be aggressive, but
really pretty amazing.

We had a great experience with Yoshi I who showed us around for 6 hours. We got to see
the deer, some temples, a few local shops, and were made to feel at home with Yoshi’s
wonderful hospitality.

Tripadvisor review: Osaka 4hr Private Tour with Government-Licensed Guide
