What Is a Private Nakasendo Trail Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report from Magome to Tsumago

The guest was a visitor from Oceania. It was their first trip to Japan, but they enjoy traveling alone and prefer to travel during less crowded seasons. We started as scheduled, and the guest had lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, the guest enjoyed talking with the restaurant owner, and we arrived at the Ichikokutochi Tateba Chaya rest house as planned. After a short break, we enjoyed the Odaki and Medaki waterfalls before arriving at Tsumago-juku. Since we arrived earlier than expected, we rested at a cafe, then took a bus and a train, ending the tour at Nakatsugawa Station. Although it was a hot and humid day, the guest enjoyed the history and nature and was very satisfied.
