What Is a Private Nagoya Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nagoya Castle and Tokugawaen

The guests were a group visiting from North America. Since the weather forecast predicted rain and strong wind in the afternoon, I proposed in advance to move the tour start time one hour earlier, to 10:30, and the guests agreed. As a result, the guests were able to enjoy the tour with almost no impact from the rain during the guided tour hours. At Nagoya Castle, the cherry blossoms were still at their peak, and the guests enjoyed the atmosphere of blossoms ranging from full bloom to falling petals. At Tokugawaen, the guests enjoyed the peony garden and the ambiance near the waterfall. At the Tokugawa Art Museum on the same grounds, the guests viewed a special exhibition for the Doll Festival (scheduled to end in a few days) and showed their interest in Japanese culture. When we visited Oasis 21, the guests wished to enjoy some more shopping there, so I explained how to get back to Nagoya Port, and we parted ways on the spot.
