Tour Itinerary
- 1. Meet @ Nagoya Port Garden Pier 9:00
- 2. Move to Nagoya Castle and view the Honmaru Palace and the area around the castle tower 9:00～10:45 ・・Move to Nagoya Castle by subway
- 3. Move to Tokugawaen and view the Japanese garden of Tokugawaen 10:45～11:30 ・・Move to Tokugawaen by taxi
- 4. Move to the Shikemichi area and view the shops along Shikemichi and the stores in the Endoji shopping street 11:40～12:20 ・・Move to Shikemichi by taxi
- 5. Move to Nagoya Port Garden Pier and disband 13:00 ・・Move to Nagoya Port by subway
Title: What's a 4-Hour Private Walking Tour of Nagoya Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America. Following the itinerary I had proposed in advance, we proceeded through Nagoya Castle, Tokugawaen Garden, and the Shikemichi area in that order, making for a rich and full 4-hour tour. Some of the guests enjoyed shopping, so along with the shops at Nagoya Castle and Tokugawaen Garden, they also enjoyed shopping at stores in the historic Shikemichi area and along the Endoji shopping street, such as the Shikemichi Glass Hall and a local shop. Since some of the guests found going up and down stairs difficult, I made sure to use elevators and escalators as much as possible to reduce the strain, so that everyone could enjoy the tour comfortably.

I highly recommend Todd! He was extremely knowledgeable and a great English speaker! In addition, he was so helpful even before the tour started. He kept us apprised of the weather, the amount of cash we would need for select spots, etc. He was great and this tour was really wonderful!
