What Can You See on a Private Nagoya Castle and Tokugawa Garden Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guest was a visitor from North America. Before this tour, the guest had stayed in Osaka and visited Osaka Castle and Himeji Castle, so I could sense a strong interest in Japanese castles. For that reason, the guest was very pleased to visit Nagoya Castle and Tokugawaen, a garden located on the former site of a villa belonging to the Owari domain lords. At the Tokugawa Art Museum, a special exhibition related to the NHK historical drama "Toyotomi Brothers" was being held, and the guest viewed it with great interest. At Osu Kannon, the final stop of the tour, the guest received a goshuin stamp in a stamp book that had been brought along, which was a delight. The guest also enjoyed a lunch featuring seasonal ingredients at Hozentei within Tokugawaen, and I believe the guest was satisfied with the guided tour as a whole.
