- 2. Move to Nagoya Castle and tour Honmaru Palace and the area around the castle tower 9:00-10:40・・・Move to Nagoya Castle by subway
- 3. Lunch near the main gate of Nagoya Castle @ Yabaton Kin Shachi Yokocho branch 10:40-11:20
- 4. Move to Tokugawaen and tour Tokugawaen and the Tokugawa Art Museum 11:20-12:45・・・Move to Tokugawaen by taxi
- 5. Move to Oasis 21 and tour the Sky Deck of the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER 12:45-13:30・・・Move to Oasis 21 by taxi
- 6. Move to Osu and tour Osu Shopping Street and Osu Kannon 13:30-14:40・・・Move to Osu by subway
- 7. Move to Sakae and disband near Hotel 14:40-15:00・・・Move to Sakae by subway
What Is a Private One-Day Nagoya Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting from Oceania. The day was blessed with fine weather, and the cherry blossoms had come into bloom at around 50 to 60 percent, reaching their best viewing period, so the guests enjoyed both visiting each site and admiring the cherry blossoms. Among the sites we visited, the guests particularly enjoyed the exhibits at Nagoya Castle, the Honmaru Palace, and the Nishinomaru Otenshu Castle Treasure Museum. At Tokugawaen, an early-blooming variety of cherry blossom was in full bloom, and the guests enjoyed viewing it. Since I heard that the guests would be staying in Nagoya for about a week, I wanted to cover as many sites as possible so they could get a good sense of the area, so I also guided them to the Sky Deck of Mirai Tower and the Osu Shopping Street. I was able to put together a tour of exactly six hours, which I offered to the guests.

I highly recommend Todd! He was extremely knowledgeable and a great English speaker! In addition, he was so helpful even before the tour started. He kept us apprised of the weather, the amount of cash we would need for select spots, etc. He was great and this tour was really wonderful!
