Tour Itinerary
- 1. Meet 9:30 @ Nagoya Port Garden Pier
- 2. Move to Nagoya Castle and view the Honmaru Palace and the area around the castle tower 9:30-11:20・・To Nagoya Castle, travel by subway
- 3. Lunch @ Yabaton Kin no Shachi Yokocho branch 11:20-12:20
- 4. Move to Tokugawaen and view Tokugawaen and the Tokugawa Art Museum 12:20-13:50・・To Tokugawaen, travel by taxi
- 5. Move to Oasis 21 and view the Mirai Tower 13:50-14:30・・To Oasis 21, travel by taxi
- 6. Move to the Osu area and view Osu Shopping Street 14:30-15:10・・To the Osu area, travel by subway
- 7. Return to Nagoya Port Garden Pier and disband 15:10-15:30・・To Nagoya Port, travel by subway
What Can You See on a 6-Hour Private Nagoya Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America. On this 6-hour guided tour, [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guided the group to Nagoya Castle, Tokugawaen Garden, the Tokugawa Art Museum, the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER, and the Osu shopping district, allowing them to enjoy the highlights of each site. Since this was an extremely hot day, I guided them so that they could spend as much time as possible in the shade of trees or inside buildings to avoid direct sunlight where possible. On the other hand, they were pleased that the clear weather allowed them to take many great photos. A special exhibition featuring famous Japanese swords was being held at Tokugawaen, and the group took a particular interest in viewing the highly artistic Japanese blades. For lunch, they enjoyed miso katsu at a restaurant, and they were delighted to savor the local Nagoya cuisine.

I highly recommend Todd! He was extremely knowledgeable and a great English speaker! In addition, he was so helpful even before the tour started. He kept us apprised of the weather, the amount of cash we would need for select spots, etc. He was great and this tour was really wonderful!
