The guests were visiting from North America. They were interested in Japanese history and culture, and listened to my explanations with great interest. At Atsuta Shrine, I talked about the history of how the shrine came to be. At Osu Shopping Street, we covered food culture and anime. At Nagoya Castle, I explained the samurai and the functions and roles of the castle. At Tokugawaen Garden, we discussed a wide range of topics spanning nature and history. They asked questions at each site, and after I answered them, they were very satisfied. At the end, they said they would like to come to Japan again to experience various aspects of its culture, and with that we concluded the tour.
