What Is a Private Walking Tour of Nagoya Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. Since the guests were all strong walkers, we traveled between sites entirely on foot and by public transportation, without using taxis. The [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) tour covered Nagoya Castle, lunch at a restaurant inside a Noh theater near Nagoya Castle, shopping at the Chubu Electric Power MIRAI TOWER and Oasis 21, and Atsuta Shrine, all of which the guests enjoyed. They were especially pleased with the rice-bowl lunch at the restaurant and the sweets at the Miya Kishimen shop within Atsuta Shrine. Among the sites we visited, they particularly enjoyed the observation deck of MIRAI TOWER and the "Kokoro no Komichi" path that circles the outer area of the main shrine at Atsuta Shrine. As it was a Monday, none of the sites were crowded, and I believe the guests enjoyed the calm atmosphere of Nagoya.
