Tour Itinerary
- 1. Meet at 9:00 @ Lobby of Hotel
- 2. Move to Nagoya Castle and tour the Honmaru Palace and the Nagoya Castle main keep area
- 3. Lunch @ Yabaton Kinshachi Yokocho branch
- 4. Move to Tokugawa Garden and tour Tokugawa Garden (Japanese garden) and the Tokugawa Art Museum
- 5. Move to Oasis 21 (Sakae area) and tour the shopping area
- 6. Move to Osu Shopping District and tour the arcade shopping street and Osu Kannon
- 7. Return to the hotel and disband 15:20

For guests with a strong interest in history and culture, this [Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) private tour featured visits to Nagoya Castle, Tokugawa Garden, and the Tokugawa Art Museum, along with the lively atmosphere of Oasis 21 and the Osu shopping district. This day happened to coincide with the Nagoya Women's Marathon and the citizens' marathon, which meant traffic in the city center was restricted. As an unexpected development, the taxi ride from Nagoya Castle to Tokugawa Garden, which normally takes about 15 minutes, ended up taking 45 minutes. After that, by switching to walking and using the Meitetsu Seto Line to reach the city center, we were able to visit each site smoothly. The guests particularly enjoyed the plum blossoms in full bloom at Nagoya Castle and the atmosphere of Tokugawa Garden, a Japanese garden. We also added a visit to the Osu shopping district, which is near the Hotel in the Fushimi area, before returning to the Hotel, and the guests were very satisfied.

I highly recommend Todd! He was extremely knowledgeable and a great English speaker! In addition, he was so helpful even before the tour started. He kept us apprised of the weather, the amount of cash we would need for select spots, etc. He was great and this tour was really wonderful!
