What Is a Private Nagasaki Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Although it was very hot on the day of the tour, the guests seemed to enjoy it very much. The guests were a group who appeared to love photography, and they took many photos at each place we visited. At Chinatown, where we stopped for lunch, instead of going into a restaurant they enjoyed strolling around and sampling street-stall items such as shumai and soft-serve ice cream. They also asked many questions at each site, and when I explained the story of how castella, one of Nagasaki's representative sweets, came to be called castella, they found it very interesting.
