Title: What Is a Private Nagasaki Kunchi Festival Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests wanted to focus mainly on the Nagasaki Kunchi festival, so we visited the main spots of Dejima while I checked the festival navigation app to track where the performances were being held. We had planned to see two performances at the city hall, but on the way there we came across a performance touring the neighborhood, so I let the guests experience the atmosphere of the Nagasaki Kunchi festival right there. Perhaps due to the heat and humidity, which was hard to believe was October, the guests seemed worn out and returned to their hotel on their own, and we parted ways around 12:00.

Hello, I’m Rikako, but please call me Coco. It would be my absolute pleasure to show you around my hometown of Nagasaki. Having performed in the Nagasaki Kunchi Festival in my childhood, I developed a deep interest in history and cultural exchange. This motivated me to become a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter during my university years. Since then, I have gained valuable experience—from assisting ambassadors at the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony to handling a wide variety of tours, including private and coach tours, site inspections, international conference support, and VIP hospitality.
Explaining about Nagasaki’s history and culture is the most important to me. It is not only about this. I would love to provide genuine care so that your time in Nagasaki remains in your heart forever.
I’m truly looking forward to guiding you in Nagasaki 🙂
