What Is a Private Day Tour Near a Cruise Port in Japan Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America, visiting Japan for the first time. Initially the plan was for a larger group, but some of the guests chose not to join, so I guided the group who came along. They had requested an 8:30 start, but since there was no suitable train, we began at 8:10 instead. Because their cruise ship was departing that evening, they wished to return by 5:00 at the latest, so I adjusted the itinerary accordingly. The guests were very curious about many things, including traveling by train and bus, and enjoyed themselves throughout. They also frequently took photos of the atmospheric scenery, and everyone in the group had a wonderful time.
