- 7:30 Travel by subway from Yodoyabashi Station to Namba Station
- 8:09-10:08 Travel from Namba Station to Koyasan Station
- 10:15-11:55 Travel by bus to Okunoin-mae, sightseeing
- 11:57-12:40 Move to restaurant (lunch)
- 12:40-13:05 While waiting for the bus, stroll around Okunoin Ichinohashi
- 13:05-14:10 Move to Kongobuji Temple, tour
- 14:15-15:00 Tour Danjo Garan
- 15:05-15:17 Tour Daimon Gate
- 15:17-15:28 Move to Koyasan Station
- 15:28-16:57 Travel by limited express Koya to Namba Station
- 16:57-17:15 Guide to Dotonbori

What Is a Private Day Trip to Koyasan from Osaka Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests wished to start early, so I picked them up at 7:30 to catch a train just after 8:00. On the way I talked about Kobo Daishi and Koyasan, and since the guests enjoyed photography, I chose a spot in the front car with good scenery, where they took many photos during the ride and kept clicking the shutter at Okunoin in Koyasan as well. At Kongobuji they photographed the rock garden and buildings, then we toured the Danjo Garan, and since we had time, we also went to take pictures of the Daimon Gate. I guided them along the Choishi-michi path in front of the Daimon Gate as well, and on the way back we smoothly caught the limited express to return to Namba without trouble. The guests said they wanted to visit Dotonbori, so I guided them there before we parted ways. The guests were particularly interested in art, and having seen the works of Hiroshi Senju—who painted the fusuma sliding-door paintings at Kongobuji—at Naoshima, they seemed very pleased.

Hi! I’m an official English guide in Wakayama prefecture. I’m also a national guide as well. I’d like to expand my guide area to help tourists.
The town of Osaka offers a different atmosphere than Tokyo. I like both exciting Osaka and nature-filled Wakayama Prefecture.
If you stay in Osaka for 3 days, you can go to Koyasan for one day, or even for a day trip, so I recommend sightseeing at Koyasan.
If you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the big city, the nature of Koyasan will relax you.
I will introduce you to the unique culture, history and must-see sights.

There is much to do in Osaka so carefully choose 3 or 4 sights to visit. Yuki was a great tour
guide and she communicated with us before the tour to find out what we wanted to see

The tour was both very informative and incredibly picturesque, while also serving as some good exercise. The guide was pleasant throughout and easy to understand so the experience was a lot of fun overall.
