Title: What Is a Private Walking Tour of Koyasan Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The tour was blessed with wonderful weather. Since it was a clear, sunny day, the guests and I walked part of the Nyonin-michi from Daimon before heading to the Danjo Garan. The blue sky behind the Konpon Daito pagoda was strikingly beautiful, and the guests eagerly took many photographs. When I asked whether they would like to observe the goma fire ritual at Seishinin, they were very keen to see it, so we watched for about 30 minutes. The goma fire ritual is always well received by guests. At Okunoin, we walked along the approach path while enjoying pleasant conversation about the gravestones, the Jizo statues, and more. Compared with tours in winter, Koyasan was warm this time, and I enjoyed guiding here as well.
