- 08:30 Meet the guest at the hotel
- 11:00-12:00. Head to the summit via the Fuji Panorama Ropeway
- 12:20-13:00. Move to and stay at Oishi Park
- 13:30-14:50 Stay at Oshino Hakkai
- 14:50-16:40. Move to the hotel

From there the group visited the summit via the Fuji Panorama Ropeway at 11:00, and stay at Oishi Park at 12:20 and Stay at Oshino Hakkai at 13:30.

The guests were a group visiting the Fuji Five Lakes area. They had initially hoped to visit the Narusawa Ice Cave, but since there were restrictions on visiting the ice cave, they decided instead to head straight to the ropeway and then continue to Oishi Park. Fortunately, the weather was clear that day, so even though there were some clouds over Mount Fuji, the guests took photos with the sunflowers and Mount Fuji in the background. They also seemed to enjoy the food, having some snacks at the top of the ropeway and buying local treats to eat at Oshino Hakkai. The group stayed calm and in good spirits throughout the drive, which left a strong impression on me. The driver also took very good care of everyone.

Our guide, Kappa-san, modified the typical Hakone tour to accommodate our interests, and is very helpful and knowledgeable. Since the day was very hot (95°F / 35°C) we favored activities that were more shaded or cool, including a walk on a cedar-lined section of the old Tokaido path.

Kappa, our guide met us at the train station and took us all over Kamakura. We saw shrines, the big Buddha, gardens, and the Oceanside! Kappa shared a lot of history about Kamakura, and it was nice to have this background when we were exploring these incredible sites! Highly recommend!

My wife and I were treated to a wonderful walking tour of Tokyo with Kappa. Kappa was very accommodating in designing a tour specifically tailored to our interests. Kappa is a wealth of knowledge regarding the city history, temples and shrine, and Japanese art history. She is a lovely person too. I highly recommend Kappa if you want to learn about Tokyo
