What Is a Private Miyajima and Mount Misen Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The tour was originally scheduled to start at 12:30, but because the guests arrived at Miyajima from Hiroshima Station later than expected, we began at 1:00 p.m. At the guests' request, we decided to go up to Mount Misen by ropeway. Even though it was a Saturday, the wait for the ropeway going up was less than 30 minutes, but there were many people waiting for the ride down, so I, the guide, lined up in the queue while the guests continued sightseeing. The guests were very pleased that we were able to save waiting time. As the guests were visiting Miyajima between meetings in Tokyo, their stay was short and there was not enough time to visit the museum. They expressed a wish to visit Hiroshima again next time they have more time, in order to see the museum and the Peace Park.
