What Is an Early Morning Private Tour of Miyajima Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from Europe, and this was an early morning tour to Miyajima. Since they needed to return to the hotel and catch the 13:32 bullet train to Fukuoka, time was limited, but they were very pleased with Itsukushima Shrine and the Museum of History and Folklore. They described Miyajima as "stunning."

Beyond Itsukushima Shrine, at the Museum of History and Folklore they showed great interest in the delicate craftsmanship of Japanese artisans, as well as the architecture, garden settings, and subtle nuances of old Japan, and seemed genuinely moved. I felt they shared an aesthetic sensibility in common with Japanese people.

From the bullet train they sent a thank-you message and photos via a messaging app, and even shared their home address, saying I should contact them if I ever visit Europe. Although our time together was short, I felt that our hearts truly connected. It made me want to visit Mont Saint-Michel someday.
