Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like in Summer? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America. We first went to the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, but as expected there were many people and it was quite crowded. Since the guests preferred an early lunch, we were very lucky to reach Seishuan before it got busy. Nijo Castle did not have many school excursion groups, so it was nice to view it in a relaxed way. As it was again extremely hot and demanding today, we took a taxi from Nijo Castle to Kiyomizu-dera. The guests seemed to take an interest in Kiyomizu pottery. Because of the heat, I imagine they were quite tired.
