Osaka to Kyoto Day Trip: What Is a Private Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America, on what was effectively their first trip to Japan. They traveled from Tokyo to Osaka by cruise, and their itinerary included a day trip to Kyoto, with the plans arranged slightly to match their requests. Some of the guests thoroughly enjoyed the trip by eating, drinking, shopping, and chatting along the way. In addition to history and Kyoto's culture, they were curious about everyday life in Japan and asked many questions about it. Other guests asked a variety of questions about Japanese history and culture. They mentioned that the next day they would like to explore Osaka on foot and eat Osaka-style okonomiyaki.
